So this morning the girls are sitting at the dinning table writing out their Christmas cards to friends at school and I again find myself thinking about how much they have change. This time last year I was the one writing out their cards for them. Little miss Nina is excitedly writing the names of her friends picking the prettiest cards for her favs. (It's quiet cute really) It's a good thing I keep telling myself (that she is growing into an independent child) while I find myself wishing I had of savored every minute of her need for me a little bit more when I had the chance. (Another odd thing that a parent finds themselves doing I suppose) I am however so proud of who they are all becoming. They have shown such strength, lobe and understanding through their years so far in this life. Christmas comes way to quickly this year though, my how the time has past and what an eventful year it has been. We went from everything to nothing and then back to everything plus more this year. After many years of anger and loathing towards the other side of the girls family this year a change happened... They made contact and have kept it. It's wonderful for the girls to know their roots (something I myself have only a little of) so this Christmas will for sure be a good one for us as we spend it with the family that my girls now get to know better. I guess the moral of this post is that with time things grow and things change regardless of if we won't it to or not somethimes for the better sometimes for the worse but either way you have to put on your big person pants smile breath and say I have got this... :)
